Goodbye 570 Ivy Circle...

Oh, moving day. You make me so sad.

570 Ivy Circle was the first house that Alex and I owned. It had so much character...especially for being a cookie cutter house in a neighborhood where you can still see your neighbor's nose hairs from looking out your window into theirs. The yard was beautiful. The colors on the inside were beautiful. There wasn't anything that it didn't have that we had wanted in a home. It was hard to drive away from something so perfect for us. I mean, how many other people do you know that have 7 palms of some sort in their yard??? Yep, we did!!!

Even though we didn't live in Grand Oaks long enough to make a TON of friends, we will had great neighbors and were surrounded by people willing to help if we needed it.

Alex spray painted this mailbox...one of his many projects :)

Our fimosa tree was beautiful and completely unique... it was a pain in the butt at times but it was an awesome tree.

Goodbyes suck but they are necessary for the next chapter so start.

SO, we loaded up for the 6 hour drive to Columbus. Bc of cleaning the house for the renters and the movers not finishing up until 5:30, we didn't get to leave the Charleston area until 8 pm. Charlotte was ready for some McDonalds...and then bed time.

Getting the car loaded in a way that the items didn't fall and injure our child was quite a trick. Max rode with mom and dad. He sat on the center console the entire time keeping them company.

As we drove out of Charleston County, we left at dusk....my favorite time of the day. It was perfect timing. Goodbye Lowcountry.
