On the morning of September 2, 2012, Jodi and her beautiful girls came over to mom and dad's house to see me and the kids before we headed to Grandma's house in Carrollton. It was BRIGHT and EARLY in the morning. Charlotte was so excited when I told her Ella and Emily were coming over to play.

Best friends from high school... since 1998-ish. Best friends recipient in 2000. Yes, we are THAT cool.
It was a brief quick visit but it was so wonderful to see all three of them. (Jodi, Sawyer, and I had had dinner together the previous Tuesday night but we wanted the kids to get to see each other.) Charlotte was ecstatic to see Ella. It was amazing to her :) I love them so much and really wish we lived closer. Jodi, thanks for getting the girls up and ready and at mom and dad's house by 8 am. Love all of my time with you.
It's always so great to see friends when I am back visiting... partly because I have no friends here in Georgia. Charlotte needs the child interaction and I need the grown up interaction. This was the perfect way to start our day.
