Oh Christmas Tree... How Lovely Are Your Branches...

On December 1, 2012, we got to play outside! It was so beautiful out!!

Charlotte thought it was the perfect day to slide down her slide. She has been randomly sliding down it by herself. Somedays Charlotte is such a daredevil. Other days, she likes to have the help or just sit on the sidelines. On this particular beautiful Saturday morning, she loved the help and extra attention from her Aunt Kathy...

Sliding is so much fun!!

Weeeee!!!!

We hung out at home all day Saturday. It was nice not to do anything at all...just hang out and be...

On Sunday morning, we got up, got ready and headed out on the crazy town of Columbus!!!

We ate a delicious meal at Texas Roadhouse. My goodness it was amazing. And Charlotte saw these amazing benches outside so she had to "sits".

We then went to Kohl's and bought a TON of our Christmas presents. We had a 30% off coupon and there were some great sales. Couple that with a cashier that was doing a terrible job at checking us out and explaining things poorly then add in Alex and Aunt Kathy's ability to get their way with things, we ended up getting a ton of stuff for not very much money. I just wanted out of the store. I gave the cashier an apologetic look and told her "Thank you. Merry Christmas." She gave me a look that easily felt like I had been slapped open handed across the face :)  But we made it out alive and I have not been banned from the store yet.

We finished running our errands and then headed home.

We went home and decorated our Christmas tree!!!

I look amazing. Don't. Be. Jealous. It takes a lot of time and babies to look THIS good.

How cute are those booties????

Getting ready to go to bed...

But first, he hung up his adorable ornament Aunt Kathy bought him at Kohls earlier that day.

Charlotte was so happy to help and hang up ornaments.

Sawyer fought a good fight with Aunt Kathy but in the end she was able to get him to go to sleep. Such a sweet little guy all sprawled out in his bed.

Such a good little helper.

So intent. Hard at work.

I think our Christmas Tree looked beautiful. I had to tweek it a bit... and add ornaments to certain areas, etc...

But, all in all, it was beautiful!!!

Aunt Kathy, thank you so much for being here with us while we decorated our tree!! Such a fabulous family day!! We loved our Sunday together.
