A Week With Emily

We babysat sweet Emily for a few days during the first week of April. Aunt Kathy also came up to visit us that same week. We got to spend time with two of our favorite people!!

Aunt Kathy came on Tuesday to visit us. It was Alex's day off. I had taken Charlotte to the allergy doctor for an appointment and taken Emily with us. We got home and Aunt Kathy came to visit and stay. Mom and Dad were out of town so she stayed at their house and kept the kitties well fed. But she spent a chunk of her time with us.

Tuesday afternoon I took pictures for a friend of Mary's. She had a sweet baby girl named Peyton. I took Emily with me. She was my partner in crime while my two crazies stayed with Alex and Aunt Kathy.
This child... she is so beautiful :)

Sweet baby Peyton was such a beautiful, easy baby to photograph. How sweet is she????

After pictures, I took Emily to her momma and then headed home. Alex and Aunt Kathy had dinner under control. Mary, Chad, and Uncle Poop also joined us for dinner. It was a great night of hanging out and eating.

The next morning, Mary, Aunt Kathy, Emily, the kids and I headed out to go shopping. Naturally it was raining like crazy but, you know...

We headed to Kohl's and to Target (our favorite place to go). It was fun, chaotic, and I was ready to get home.

Emily had a front row seat to a show with the crazies during her Target ride.

That afternoon we sat around the house while it rained and rained and rained.
Charlotte is eating her toes in this picture.

Aunt Kathy headed home the next day. It was a fabulously fun week. We had Emily the next day as well. She loved her time with us. :) And we are finally getting to where she will nap at my house as well :) (There is generally too much going on for her to want to take a nap.)

Thanks for coming to visit, Aunt Kathy. And thanks for letting us take care of Emily, Jodi. She is just such an amazing girl...and so tolerant of my gremlins.

Happy 2nd Birthday Adam Wayne :)

Our sweet Wayne's birthday is in Feburary...a few days before Charlotte's. Eric and Amanda decided to have his birthday party the last weekend in January so that it would be easy for family since we had a big family weekend ahead anyway. It worked out awesome for us. We were able to make it!

It's always a party when the Webers are present....

The kids are always have a good time playing at Wayne's house.

They LOVE the play room he has.

Mary wanted to see what she would look like by June so she attempted to shove a basketball in her sweatshirt

Wayne's awesome cake made by my fabulous cousin Ryan. He is so talented with his baking and especially with decorating the cakes.

Wayne's expression here is killing me.

Eric always has his eyes closed :) (Sorry Eric).
Such a sweet family :)
Wayne is ready to dig in and get those tractors.

Look at him.
This boy loves his tractors.

He was cracking me up during this.
I love how Uncle Darrin is looking at him. I know he had no idea he could love a little boy this much.
It's so sweet.

Singing happy birthday to him!
I wish I knew what he was thinking here...
"Can we get this over with already? I want those tractors!"

YES! Tractors!

Charlotte loves birthdays...
the song, the cake, the presents.... they are the best day of her life.

Rocking part of his present from us.

And rocking part of the other present from us.
Could the present be anymore me...??? Sunglasses and mustaches.

Allana was styling in her ADORABLE little zebra outfit.

This girl thinks she is a rockstar.

Shy Sawyer. He does so much better when he doesn't see me. He loves the family but he loves his momma the most. When I am out of sight, he will go to people.

He is so crazy about his Maw Maw.

He loves her so much.

A bunch of the family was able to make the birthday party. It was such a nice party. Delicious food. Hanging out. A toy room for the kids. It was perfect!!!

My two kids started to get a bit wild so we headed to Grandma Ann's house around 9 and put them to bed. Thanks for a great party, Eric and Amanda.

Happy Birthday, Wayne. We love you so much!! You made the kids so happy and it's awesome being close and being able to watch you grow.

A Wintery Day At Grandma Ann's House

On December 18, the kids and I decided to go to Grandma Ann's house for the day to hang out and help get ready for Christmas festivities. She always makes candy and cookies and decorates the entire house. I figured we would head down and spend some time with her and help as much as someone with two small kids can help.

Aunt Kathy came down and gave the kids their presents a week early.

Sweet  boy got a fire truck!!!

And our princess got a Sofia doll that talks!!!

Kyla got a plethora of Minnie Mouse things :)

It's almost like Aunt Kathy knows everyone's favorite things!!!

Sweet Baby Allana was so tuckered out :) How sweet does she look here????

Kyla partied so hard that she fell asleep looking like a rock star :)

It was awesome having all five grandkids out. Aunt Kathy was babysitting Wayne so she brought him out after his school. He LOVES playing with Charlotte and Kyla.

Love this boy. He loves to play with Grandma's sweeper for her kitchen. Judging by the background, that's what he had been doing prior to this picture. The boy loves vacuums and brooms!

Melissa loves the babies. If you can't find her at Grandma's house, just look for the babies.

And Charlotte is no different. When Charlotte is around, Allana gets NO breathing room. NONE.

We all love Grandma's house at Christmas. We all love the lights and greenery and the tree with the fake snow on it.

Wayne loves his Grandma :)

Eric came to pick Wayne up. All three of the older kids were all over him like a jungle gym.

Wayne is all boy. There were tons of toys and everything and he just wanted to play with the wood pile. Of course.

We had such a good day with everyone. Melia and the girls were there all day. Melissa and Aunt Kathy were there all day. Uncle Darrin and Eric and Uncle Rich were there for supper. It was really a great day. The kids love spending time with their cousins.

The next morning we got up and got ready for the long ride home. But first, Charlotte had to visit her friends....

Look at that kitty....

This was her during our argument as to why she couldn't go outside naked in the cold, snowy weather. She was insisting that she needed to see the cats without her jammies on. Such a crazy cat lady!!!!

A Sport Filled Saturday

On Saturday, September 14, we woke up at Grandma Ann's house. Mary and Anne both got up with me and the kids. It was nice to have so much help at 7 am :) Mary and Chad headed back home bc they had a full weekend back home. We stayed down and Alex decided to come down Saturday when he got off of work.

Katie had a regional softball game so we all decided to go to it.
Charlotte rode into town with Grandma Ann and Aunt MeeMee.

Sawyer rode to town with his Momma once he woke up from his nap.

Katie was a maniac on the field :)

Aunt Kathy is famous for always having apples with her. Charlotte knows that Aunt Kat will have snacks and what not for her :)

Sawyer just walked right over and crawled up on Grandma's lap. He actually does this often now.

Sweet Sawyer kisses...

It's so easy for these kiddos to be spoiled around everyone. They get to do whatever they want :)

Aunt Kathy and Liss after the game.

Sawyer watching the win...

Great game Katie!!!

Sibling love.

After a fabulous win, we headed to the Wagon Wheel for lunch with everyone that went to the game. For whatever reason, it took an hour to get our food. Then the food I ordered was too greasy and made me sick. The kids were pretty good considering they needed a nap in the worst way.

We said goodbye to Aunt MeeMee. She headed back to Jeff City, MO after lunch.

We went back to Grandma's house to play for awhile. Then we took the kids down to Aunt Kathy's house for a bath and to play. Alex met us at Aunt Kathy's. We drove down the lane to Grandma's house and picked her up. Then we headed up to the high school football game. It was Alumni Night so all of our family that had played was getting announced. Mom and Dad even came over from the Villa so Dad could get announced. Even though Grandma had just had surgery, we were able to get her parked close enough that she didn't have to walk far...and we got in for free.

Here is Dad walking onto the field.

Uncle Jim is in the green Tshirt, jean shorts, and grey hat.

Jake is at the end walking out.

Dad was pretty happy to be in his old stomping grounds...

Alex and Charlotte had a pretty front row seat for the game.

Melissa brought Wayne up to the game.
She let him out of the stroller and he was EVERYWHERE.
But he was super excited to see his Great Grandma Ann.
I love this picture.

He was so happy to see her.

Charlotte was scared of the person dressed as a Hawk. (She  just really hates humans dressed as animals...or anything other than a humna.) Sawyer was tired and needed to go to sleep.

We left after the third quarter. Alex picked up pizza for us and we headed to Grandma's. Alex, Jake and Melissa went out that night. I stayed at Grandma's with her and the babies.

It was a busy but fun Saturday! :) Oh, just love living and breathing in a small town...
