A Day Full of Preparation

Naturally both kids woke up bright and early on the morning of December 21st. Thankfully mom is an early riser and she was all about taking care of the babes (and even if she wasn't an early riser, she would still do it.)

Hanging out bright and early in Gigi and Papa's living room.

Check out this cool cat....hiding from Charlotte.

We got up, wrapped presents, and helped Gigi cook. Thankfully Alex was around and could help mom cook and prepare for their party that night. Charlotte was all decked out in the apron Gigi had for her.

 Hard at work!

She loved helping Gigi and Daddy do the cooking.

It's breakfast time for one hungry boy!!!

Papa was so excited that he got to feed him.

We had a quick lunch and finished getting stuff done around the house. Alex had a lunch meeting with a possible job opportunity back here in the Peoria area. Charlotte took a perfect nap and while she was napping, Anne and Jeremy showed up at the house. Here is the sweetest girl in the world waking up from her nap. LOVE THAT HAIR.

She was so excited when she woke up and found she had someone sharing the bed with her.

That right there is one hot mess.

The Weber Girls, us sisters, ran to Target ( something we always do.) We took the kids with us to give mom and dad and the house a break. We had a fabulous time...as always. There is just something about being with my sisters...

When we got home, Uncle Poop and Alex were back from lunch (John had driven Alex.) Love this picture of Sawyer and Uncle Poop.

Uncle ChaCha came down for the party. Sawyer loves his Uncle ChaCha.

We had a great day. It was full but great. Now, it's time to get the party started...
