Merry Christmas Grandpa and Grandma Schumann

So our plans went as scheduled for our LONG DAY on December 23rd. Anne and Jeremy got up early and were gone from mom and dad's house by 7 am. They had to be back in Jefferson City, MO by the afternoon bc there was a death in Jare's family. Mary, the kids, and I were gone from the house by 7:45 am so we could get to Grandma and Grandpa Schumann's for a late breakfast/early lunch. Dad, Alex, John, and Chad all headed down to Grandma Ann's house to start have a blast...literally. Because of a detour and a stop for a soda, we arrive in Kampsville to see the Schumann side later than we had wanted to. Ugh.  However, both kids got a nap in in the car so that was nice.

We met Grandpa, Grandma, Anne and Jeremy at the Kampsville Inn. The moving Santa Clause was a hit with my kids.

Sawyer loved hanging with his Great Grandpa

Charlotte does love her Aunt Meemee.

And Bare loves the "HOHO". Charlotte was not quite sure what to think of this dude. She was pretty reserved around him.

I. Love. This. She was ignoring Grandpa.

After we ate, we headed back to their house for presents. Naturally Charlotte was the full time present opener.

Way to go, Charlotte.

Grandpa got pretty bored with all of the present opening so he went to sleep. And snored.

This is as close as she was willing to get. And this was the best picture I got out of 8.

Grandpa just played and played with Sawyer. They rolled around and were going nuts.

We loved our visit with Grandpa and Grandma Schumann. We got money for Christmas and the kids got some ADORABLE little outfits along with their money.

We love you Great Grandpa and Great Grandma. We loved our time with you!
