See You In A Few Weeks...

On Tuesday, December 4, we were so sad that we had to say goodbye to Aunt Kathy :( We had had a great six days with her. We had spent a lot of time and money shopping, we had prepared for Christmas, we had some pajama days, we had eaten delicious food, we had a FABULOUS time!!!

Her flight was at 4 pm so we got up, ate breakfast, and got ready. We headed toward Atlanta. I tend to always stop off of the same exit, if I stop, when I am on my way to or from Atlanta. So we stopped in Newnan and had lunch. We ate at a Mexican restaurant... DELICIOUS. Sawyer slept the whole time... which was amazing. 

We took a few pictures of Goose and Aunt Kathy before we got in the car and headed to the airport.

A "See you in a few weeks" kiss

We dropped Aunt Kathy off at the curb. We hate saying goodbye... even though we prefer to say "See you later"...

After the airport, we headed back to Newnan and did some Christmas shopping. They have a bunch of fabulous stores in a strip mall so we took advantage of Alex having the day off. We got him in time for dinner, baths, and bedtime. It was successfully fabulous day. The Tahoe was loaded to the maximum when we pulled back into our drive...

Aunt Kathy, thank you for coming to visit us. You are truly amazing. We know it's not easy to be away from home, your cats :) , your husband, or little man for that long but you always do it to help us out. We know it's not cheap or easy to travel. We are so thankful for you...and for Uncle Darrin. Love you to the moon.
