The Day Before The Day Before The Wedding

Wedding week brings about lots of preparation, fun, time with friends and family, and bonding like no other :)

Thursday morning we got up and headed up to the Fields ballroom. We started getting stuff set up there. Here it is starting out... well, they had already set up the tables and put the linens on them.

Bare and Kare

We headed up to the church after we worked at the Fields for awhile. Mary drove Mom's Yukon with a wooden "thing" hanging out the back (and the back door open) while she drove down the highway. Mari and Kari were responsible for making sure it didn't fly out :) They look hysterical pulling into the church.

The pew decor :)

My crazy beautiful kids.

Not sure why these pics are at an angle.

The alter...and unity candle.
Beautiful.

Beautiful again. No, that is not Heidi Klum. That is Mary. You know, the one getting married...???

America's Next Top Models.

We got finished at the church in a little over an hour. It was fabulous! There is power (and speed) in numbers with this kind of thing. After we finished the church, we loaded up and ran to the healthiest place in town for lunch.

McDonald's.

We were all excited about the "excuse" to eat it...even if no one wanted to admit it.

Then we headed back up to finish decorating for the reception.
Decorating for a reception is so easy with a 7 month old and a 2 year old :)

Even with the crazies running around, we still got it as ready as we could!
Here is the decorating crew :)
(Anne is in this picture bc she had just gotten there from Missouri but she wasn't there doing any of the decorating. We were pretty much done when she got there. Sorry to call you out, Anne :)  )

And Thank the Lord for Lisa Obery :)
She helped us with all of the decorating.
Lisa, you are amazing... and have quite the eye :)

After we finished decorating, Anne came over to our house to play and see the house. Charlotte was so excited to have her Aunt Mee Mee there.

They drank "tea" and played with all of the fabulous toys we have.

How sweet is this guy???

They really really love each other...

He thinks he is just so big!

We finished out our day at our house for dinner. Mom, Dad, Mary, Chad, Anne, Jeremy, Mari (Mary's friend and bridesmaid), and my kiddos all ate at our house. We had Bernardi's and just sat and chilled for a bit. We all enjoyed some ice cream for dessert. It is the beginning of a fabulous weekend!!! So excited for the rest of the weekend.

Congratulations Mary and Chad!
