Weber Family Christmas Pictures

Like most families, we always do family pictures at Christmas. We planned to do a big family picture of everyone together since we knew that Jake would be leaving for the Air Force in February. So we had arranged for Alex to get to Grandma's house as soon as possible. We had it figured it out that as soon as he walked into the house, we could have him just jump into the picture.

We started family pictures before Alex got there.

Jim was ready before anyone else.

Jim's Family.

Aunt Diane's family did their family picture outside with the sunset in the background. I did however feel the need to get a good picture of Jake and Alicia.

The core six.

The Weber Grandkids.
I love all of these people.
I love having such a great family.

Grandma and her next set of great grandbabies.

Aunt Kathy's bunch

Wayne was ready to do his own thing :)

I hate that this is the best one that I got :(

Uncle Rich's growing family!

Their first Christmas as a family of four.

Next year they will have a six month old at Christmas!

Anne and Jeremy.

Anne and her godmother.

I love that the bar in the "big" room is always where the men hang out.

One of the pictures of all of us.
The Webers.
(Alex walked in and we all got into place and started snapping pictures.)

Dad's family.

Our sweet little non attention paying family.

After pictures, most of the adults started doing the gag gifts.

After a few people had had their turns during the gag gift, someone called me in to let me know that Charlotte had eaten two small pieces of puppy chow. She is very allergic to peanut butter and I started to panic because I had forgotten her Epi Pen at home. I gave her a big dose of Benadryl and let her go play. After about 5 minutes, she came out and sat on my lap. She was telling me and Alex that her neck hurt...which made me worry that her throat was closing up. All of a sudden she started throwing up everywhere. So, I scooped her up and mom and I rushed her to the ER. They have a small hospital in Grandma's town. My aunt, who is a pharmacist, called the ER to warm them that we were on our way. Mom took her to the room and I got her registered. They were really good with her. Everything ended up being ok. I just gave her more Benadryl when we got back to Grandma's house.

Poor girl, she was exhausted by the time we got back. It was so super scary. She kept saying that her neck and throat hurt. I'm sure it was from her throwing up but it's so hard to know with a two year old.

Once we were back at the house, she feel asleep on me and I gave her to Melissa.
Meliss had her hands full!

We had such a good day. Alex got to spend time with everyone and still got to participate in the gag gift. We were so glad he rushed down so we could get a good, posed family picture of EVERYONE. The last of our Christmas' have come to an end...

Merry Christmas (in June as I write this) from us.

Christmas at the Farm

On Saturday December 28, we had our family Christmas at Grandma Ann's house. It was nice waking up and having so much help with Anne and Mary at Grandma's house. The kids loved having both of their aunts there.

Mary and I headed into town to visit Grandpa's grave. Even though it wasn't like Grandpa was actually meeting Baby Kamm, it makes it feel like he is. He would be so so proud....

Our tradition with Christmas these days is to have a bunch of soups, appetizers, and sandwiches for the meal and then shooting of guns all afternoon. They switch the shooting to different locations each year. This year it was down at the pond.

Charlotte loved it.

The weather was surprisingly amazing....for December 28.

I loved the sunset :)

Uncle Jim looked a little crazy in his get up.... I couldn't stop laughing as I watched him.

Everyone watching the action....

After shooting, and snacking, and eating....

The present craziness started.

Charlotte loved helping out.

So did Wayne :)

Sawyer got a truck from MawMaw. HE LOVED IT!

My kids are so spoiled. So very spoiled.
And Papa was in charge of holding all of their presents.

A Puzzle!!!

One of Grandma Ann's presents was a brag book from my cousin Mallory and her hubby AJ...who had just gotten married in October. They announced that they have a baby on the way! Great Grandbaby #8 for Grandma Ann.

Sawyer loved his big 'ole dump truck. He loved it so much that he wanted to ride around in it.

I have no idea why he is wearing his sunglasses....

Aunt Didi made a special gift presentation to Uncle Richard. Everyone was watching...including Sawyer in his dump truck.

He got a Sasquatch book. He is always looking for Sasquatch.
It was a crowd pleaser!

Anne was getting some practice in with Alana.

We had such a great day of hanging out at the farm. Everyone filtered in and out. We ate delicious food all day long. We had a blast opening presents. The kids were so excited. It was so great to have everyone there....except Alex and AJ. They both got there later on right before pictures.

Continuing Our Christmas Week

Our fabulous Christmas Week just kept trucking along.

The day after Christmas, I went to Mom and Dad's house to get the kids ready. Mary and I ran to Target with the kids then we headed to meet Mom, Anne, and Jeremy along with Dad in Hanna City for lunch. We had a delicious lunch and it was great getting to have lunch with Dad. His busy schedule doesn't allow him to take the time to do that with us very often. Then we headed back home. Anne and Jeremy rode with us. We took them through the tornado damage in Washington on our way back home.

That night, Anne, Jeremy, Mary, and Chad came over for dinner. We ordered pizza and hung out for a bit. Poor Alex had to work past closing so he had to eat when he got home. It was a fabulous night and it was nice to have everyone over again.

On Friday, Mary and I headed down South to start the extended family Christmas's. We drove to Grandma Ann's house that morning. She rode with the kids and I. We hung out at Grandma Ann's for awhile then we headed over to the Villa to celebrate the Schumann Christmas.

The weather was so beautiful and perfect for December.

Considering how long and cold the winter was for us, I am shocked it was so beautiful in the days surrounding Christmas.

Our little old man....mess hair, nerdy zip up sweater, sweatpants, and his pants tucked into one boot. He looks like he just rode the senior citizen bus over from the retirement community.

Our outside queen :)

Always climbing on stuff he isn't supposed to climb on....

Uncle Rusty, Aunt Sonya, and their three boys were visiting from North Carolina. They also brought their dog Ruby. Charlotte LOVED Ruby. LOVED her.

My beautiful offspring.

How did Alex and I make such beautiful kids????

After we got there and got acclimated to everyone that was there, the kids just went about their business as usual. We had Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Bev, T, Mary, John, me, the kids, Uncle Rusty, Aunt Sonya, Reed, Ross, Rowe, a few of Aunt Sonya's family members, a few of Uncle Rusty's friends, and some of Mom's cousins all came to visit. Reed, Ross, and Rowe even had a few people come visit. It was a full and busy house. Later on, Chet, Vanessa, and Mandy came too!

We had a delicious supper. The kids ate all night long.
Great Grandma Millie was looking fabulous :) Cancer isn't getting her down. She looked so good and was a maniac!

We hung out downstairs quite a bit. We watched "What About Bob" and the kids ran around. Charlotte finally paid a bit of attention to Rowe (but not like her obsession last year.) Ross just kept trying to play with the kids. Finally Sawyer hung with him a bit.
The two music loving boys. I couldn't decide who was accompanying who.

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa got this boy some tractors. They know the key to his heart.

He found Papa's empty beer can. Also a key to his heart.

Charlotte was helping Great Grandma get all of the presents passed out.

And Great Grandma and Great Grandpa know the way to this girls' heart. A stroller and baby doll!!! Her year has been made. This child was born to be a mommy someday.

Grandma was helping get all of the baby stuff set up.

Grandma and Grandpa and their grandchildren...minus Anne and Bub....and their great grandchildren minus Xander.

Aunt Bev and her clan....minus Andrew. So glad that even Sugar was able to make it :)

I had a picture of Uncle Rusty and his family....including Ruby.... but I can't find it!! (He's going to accuse me of deleting it on purpose because he was in it :) I know his type.)

Once the kids got too tired, Mary and I headed back across the river. We went to Grandma Ann's house to sleep since it was a full house at Mom and Dad's villa. It was great to see everyone. Cousin Jerry even made an appearance. We have missed him so much.

It's crazy how old the Schumann boys have gotten. It's fun to sit around and make fun of stuff and each other with them. We love our time with Chet and Vanessa as always and we hadn't seen Mandy since Mary's graduation.

We love the holidays and seeing so many people we love!!!!
