At 6:30 am, our little nuggets woke up and were so very excited to see if Santa came to visit!! Charlotte actually slept in our room on the floor just in case the whole Santa thing turned out to be a scary situation. I'm sure she thought he was going to come up and go in her room. So she slept by Mommy and Daddy. Sawyer woke up in the middle of the night (I know, surprise surprise) so they were both in our room when they woke up.
Santa DID come!!
...and he left our little princess a special toy for her babies...
...and our little bruiser a toy to "build" things with...
Merry Christmas Jackson children!
He even left our stockings where it would be easy to reach them!
Cute little rain boots :)
Here they come!!!
WHOA!
The look of amazement on Charlotte's face. Sawyer looks like he is ready to destroy something. Alex looks like he is ready to pounce.
Santa loved the cookies and milk and even left a snowy handprint behind.
He really has no idea what is going on :)
Santa left foot prints!!!!!!!!!1
Emptying out her stocking.
He loved his candy/boy items/cup filled stocking.
Naturally. He is more excited about the food than anything.
A TRUCK!!!!
Santa brought this diva some "yip stick"
When the sun was finally up we got to see that the reindeer had snacked on the celery and carrots that the kids had thrown onto the deck.
Gigi and Papa came over for breakfast. We had a delicious breakfast of bacon, fruit, eggs, and coffee cakes!
Aunt Bare came by when she got off of work. Charlotte was already sporting her nursing scrubs that Santa had brought her. She matched Aunt Bare!
Uncle Chad got up early and came over too! We had a crowd again on Christmas morning. The kids were so excited to show off all of the treasure that Santa had brought them!
After everyone left, and the kids were down for naps, Alex made himself his own Christmas present.... an exotic looking Bloody Mary.
Toys. Toys. And more toys.
Here are all of the Christmas cards we got this year! I LOVE them! I love having them displayed. The kids stand below them and look up at them and talk about the people in them.
We had an awesome Christmas morning. The kids were so excited. They were absolutely nuts. We loved getting to have family come to our house for our first actual Christmas as Illinois residents.
And the celebration continues...
