Brookfield Zoo With The Crew (Part 2)

Part 2 of our time at Brookfield Zoo included the little splash pad area at the zoo. It was pretty warm out so the kids really appreciated the cool water! Naturally, my water loving children dove right in.

Matthew and Charlotte. He was easing in. I feel like she was pondering pushing him.

The chaos of the splash pad at the Brookfield Zoo.
See my sweet little 11 month old right in the midst of it all???

Jack Attack and Charlotte observing so many friends in such a small area.

He loves water...

Nicholas was loving it!

Charlotte thinks she is being sweet and loving on her brother.
Sawyer feels different. He is struggling.

I love this picture of Molly and Charlotte.
So sweet. They had so much fun playing!

Matthew was so busy :)

Sawyer's shoes were slipping off and his outfit looked like it was probably rather annoying and clingy. But he looks cute.

Addelyn and Charlotte play so well together!

Sweet Molly playing with Sawyer.

"Tickle tickle"
Charlotte laughed. Nicholas didn't.

This is my favorite picture. It would be the best if Sawyer's eyes were open. I feel like he telling this little girl that we do not know that she is weird or something. So funny.

"What should get into next?"

You KNOW Charlotte was screaming. She has that high pitched scream down pat.

Group meeting around the sprinkler....with a random, non GDI friend.

Hey cute boy :) Step on the water spout!

After all was said and done (and it started to rain), we got everyone corralled up and changed into dry clothes. Charlotte was so excited to share her clothes with Addelyn.

How sweet are they together?

The Schramm kiddos rode in style!! Erica brought the wagon. They LOVED it.

Katie was sweet enough to take a group pic (We never have an extra person around to do this for us.)

Hugs goodbye....
Charlotte loves all of her "frans"

Hugs for sweet Matthew.

Hugs for sweet Nicholas.

(You can tell everyone was ready for their naps.)

Ash and I stayed around a bit longer. It started REALLY raining but moved onward and upward. We saw a few more animals and we got slushies.

We finally decided to call it a day. We had a long drive back to M-town. Charlotte only slept about 40 minutes on the drive so that was perfection :)

It was an awesome day!! Katie was such an awesome help!!! It would have been SO MUCH harder without her. Thanks, friends, for such a great day!!! We had a blast!
