Aunt Kathy's Visit: July 14-15

Saturday morning we woke up and we got a lot of work done around the house. Aunt Kathy was an AMAZING help!! We got the house cleaned up, every room vacuumed, and things organized. We also did SIX loads of baby laundry. Yes, SIX. We cleaned every bit of unisex clothing/washable materials that we had in the house. We got the car seat washed up and put back together. We are feeling a bit more ready for this baby than we did before Aunt Kathy came :)

Charlotte LOVED the car seat being out. She loves buckles, snaps, etc.

After a bunch of cleaning and housework, it was POOL TIME!!!!

One of Charlotte's favorite things about swimming is that when we go swimming in our ginormous pool, she gets to have popsicles. And generally the person swimming with her has a popsicle too. The funny part is that Charlotte truly believe that both popsicles are hers. She eats both. And dips them in the water while doing it.

Back inside for some chill time. We had had a BUSY day!

Charlotte loves her Great Aunt Kathy

Do you love her little onesie that Aunt Bare got her??? It's true. Her Aunties DO rock!!!

The way we finish off everyday.... BATH TIME!

Aunt Kathy gave Charlotte TONS of bubbles for this bath. Charlotte LOVED all of the bubbles. She was going crazy!

What a maniac!

Bath time was fabulous for me all week! Charlotte loves her bath time with Aunt Kathy so it was my time to just sit and hang out. I usually just sat with my feet up for a few minutes and let them enjoy their time together :)

Sunday was a sad sad day :( Although, we prefer to call our "goodbyes" "see you laters". Goodbyes suck. Sorry to be so frank, but it's true. Goodbyes just sound so sad and so permanent. So we say, "see you later". This time we were able to say "See you in August". As we loaded the car for Atlanta to take Aunt Kathy to see her friend Jodi, Charlotte checked the tires to make sure all was good.

I love this picture. They both look like they are in pain...or constipated.

They are going to miss each other. They were partners in crime allllll week.

See You in August! (when we bring the newest addition with us!)

Thank you for coming down to see us, Aunt Kathy! Thank you for taking time away from your hubby, Eric and Amanda, and your sweet little grandbaby. We appreciate them sharing you with us :) Thank you for all of your help! Charlotte would get so excited to wake you up every morning :) We loved our time with you. It was a great week of doing so much yet doing nothing all at the same time. Love you so much!!!
