Charlotte Turns ONE :)

On February 8, 2011, God brought this beautiful baby girl into our world. She came in this world dancing like a rockstar. She took her own sweet time to make her appearance that day.

Charlotte Marie Jackson turned one year old on February 8, 2012 :)

Good morning, beautiful, how was your night???? Here she is enjoying her morning breakfast with daddy.

We went to the Children's Museum in Downtown Charleston for her birthday. We met up with her boyfriend, Gavin, and Miss Niki.

Charlotte and Gavin trying to figure out how this room full of balls works.

The next room was the water room. See the hot pink arrow pointing to the little troll wearing the red apron? Well, that little boy was being ugly to my child and I had to be a bit nasty with him. His mom wasn't even paying attention. She was sitting with her manicured nails, expensive purse, and her hair all done up talking on the phone not paying one bit of attention to what her kids were doing. Typical.

So happy that I have a one year old!

Splash, splash, splash!!! She gave herself of bath :)

On to the boat room! Time to drive the ship...

Gavin and Charlotte love each other.

Time to go shopping!!! How cute do they look with their little shopping carts?

"Which one is a good one??"

"Dad, I got a bunch of fruit. What else is on the list?"

Gavin picked a big something up in the floral section.

Let's go play in the toddler area!!

And this is THE look I get everytime she wants me to hold her. I get this look a hundred times a day.

Firetruck time :) Gavin was such a good driver!

Charlotte and Daddy went a made a picture... they didn't get to finish it bc there was too much green paint that made it's way to Charlotte's pretty little outfit.

Medevil (sp?) Times. Sitting on a throne together. Such a cute little couple.

There goes my life...

My family

Love this picture of Charlotte....and the Popeye the Sailor Man look Alex has on his face :)

After the museum we went to Chick-Fil-A for one of her favorite meals. I almost had to knock a little tird out. I hate when kids are mean to other kids... especially when they are like 4 and they are weird and they are picking on a one year old. I told a group of old ladies that I will solve this problem by teaching Charlotte how to hit the mean kids. They didn't know what to say. I told Alex if that kid had made one more move and tried to really ruin her birthday, I'd find a way to ruin his every holiday...

After lunch we made Charlotte go with us to get our taxes done. It was probably the best part of her day :)

However, she did get her first sucker from the tax place. As you can tell from the picture she didn't really get how to use it.

Once we got home, it was time to play with daddy for a bit. Man this girl loves her daddy...

Hyper from of the her birthday excitement!!

Birthday dinner consisted of pizza and breadsticks. Not quite a fan yet...

Since a friend of ours made her smash cake, the free one that Publix sent us with her cake was leftover. SO she got a SECOND smash cake :)

Happy Birthday to you!

She loves to share with daddy :) (I shared with Alex that his hair has never looked better than it does in this picture.)

Lots and lots of cake!!

"Man this icing is SO GOOD! Get in my belly!!"

This is a good look for me.

How big is Charlotte????? SOOOO BIG!

One last story before bedtime...

It was a perfect little birthday for our Goose. It was pretty bittersweet. Alex had to move to Columbus, GA the next night. We were just happy that we had a perfect day together... even if 2 dirty little punks tried to ruin it. Happy Happy Birthday to our first born. You make us proud every single day.
