To start this post, I am posting a few pictures of Charlotte playing outside on Sunday September 8. She was riding her four wheeler around the yard while Alex did yard work. She put these tongs from her kitchen set on her chin like a chin strap.
Her imagination kills me.
She wore them for a long time.
Note our beautiful and impressive yard. Appears dead right??? Probably bc it is.
On September 9, 2013, we helped Alex's boss out and babysat his daughter for the day because his wife, carrying twins, was going into preterm labor and was laid up in the hospital on bedrest. So we picked his daughter up and headed to the zoo on this beautiful 95 degree day. (I didn't post pics of her bc we aren't close to them and it would be creepy.)
Charlotte and the donkey. She was talking to him.
Aunt Bare came with us to help. I couldn't have done it without her.
Her little legs...
Love this cat man at the zoo. Love that Sawyer is creepily peeking back at him.
Charlotte was crazy about the fact that she could fit her arm into the tiger's mouth.
We love cats. Even big cats. With paws bigger than our heads. We love cats.
We REALLY love cats. Sawyer was meowing at the cat. The cat's mouth was watering as it looked at Sawyer.
We headed over to the giraffe to see about feeding it. The lady lost her personality this day and wouldn't let the kids help feed the giraffes.
I took a bunch more pics but Charlotte's little friend was in all of them and I didn't want to post pictures of her. But it was a good day. It was really hot. We were pretty miserable at time. We went to Chick Fil A for lunch and it was fabulous. The kids played on the playground (as I gagged a bit wondering what kind of nasty germs were swimming around in there) and they ate most of their food. We returned our friend back to her Daddy and headed home to take naps. It was a perfect little day...and the zoo wasn't too busy. It was fab.
