Family Vacation: Let's Celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Jackson

They did it! Austin and Ashley are married. Time for us to all celebrate!

The reception was in the house and the tent of the Jasmine House....just on the opposite side of the venue from the ceremony.
There was a live band. The kids LOVED the band.

There was lots of family there.
Aunt Barbara and her beautiful family were there.

The cake was so beautiful.

The food was good!

Sharing treats with Great Grandma Mimi. She had set up shop inside at the reception. It was MUCH cooler in there :)

Charlotte was SO excited when Aunt Ashley and Uncle Austin came to the reception after pictures. She was so excited about the princess dress.

The cowboy hats I bought from the Target dollar section really did come in handy! Happy Fourth of July!

Uncle Keith's gorgeous family!
The girls are so grown up.

The wedding party was announced and the bride and groom were having their first dance.

Watching the first dance.

Grandpa and Grandma were posing for a picture and as this handsome little guy ran through, Aunt Sally picked him up quickly to join the picture.

Feeding Grandma chocolate kisses...

Oh Charlotte. Always putting on a show. She loved talking to Aunt Nancy and the girls.

I love this one. All three girls look so pretty.

This little guy was overwhelmed and tired. The best place to be is Daddy's arms.

It's toast and cake cutting time!

Family Vacation: A Great Night For A Rehearsal Dinner

Thursday, July 3, 2014 started out for us in Columbia, SC. Alex and the kids got ready and headed out with Uncle Adam. They went to see Uncle Adam's new boat. They were able to take them out on Lake Murray in his boat as well :) I went running on the Lake Murray dam while they were out and about. It was a beautiful run. After they were done with their little adventure, they came back to the house and both kids were completely out.

After her nap, this little princess had her nails done by Aunt "Adron".

Intense nail time.

We had a great afternoon of naps and getting ready for the rehearsal dinner. Adam headed off to the rehearsal since he was the best man in the wedding. Since the rest of us didn't have roles in the wedding, we were just going to go to the dinner. The dinner was at a pavilion in one of the nice parks in the Irmo area. It was all brand new and super nice.

Grandma Jackson was there to greet us.

She had a water gun ready for him.

Charlotte and Grandpa Jackson.

We had a delicious meal with all of the basic Southern fixin's.

There were bubbles for days. WE. LOVE. BUBBLES.

These two. Sitting at the end of the table giggling over something.

I am certain they are talking about shooting people.

The favor for the rehearsal dinner... lemons to make lemonade :)

Charlotte didn't want her own plate. She just wanted to eat Aunt Adron's food.

Now that is a cute boy eating fried chicken.

How sweet is this picture?

Pretty standard for my kids....pointing guns at people's heads.

For the dessert, there was a snow cone truck. Everyone was excited.

My sweet babes...going on a walk.

SUGAR HIGH!

Daddy took them on a walk with Grandma Jackson. They went back to the little playhouse.

A little walk through the flower garden.

Shooting everyone with water. Charlotte was aiming for Uncle Keith all night. He was just like a big kid playing with them. It was so cute!

The rehearsal dinner pictures shall be continued.....

Mal and AJ's Party

You know, it's always a party when the Webers are involved. :)
One thing I really appreciate about our family is that we are all the first to get to a reception/event and we are the last to leave. That's the glory of family. They help with the set up and tear down....

Mallory and AJ's first dance.

The Weber Girls all married off.... and Mary has her little bun in the oven.

Grandma was gettin' tipsy!!
Kidding. She was holding Kurtis' beer.

Weber Siblings :)
Everyone looks amazing.
Caleb is standing weird.

Love a few things about this picture.
1.Caleb's hand on his hip.
2. The empty dance floor.
3. The fact that Anne and Katie are jumping.
4. The fact that Katie wasn't too embarrassed to do that....bc that is something isn't usually cool to a 12 yr old.

I want to say this was the Copperhead Road dance.
Anne and Melissa love a good line dance.
Caleb just loves dance...when he drinks...

I feel the thought bubbles here were...
Anne: Oh wow. Those kicks are nuts. I hope he doesn't fall.
Caleb: I am Lord of the Dance. The people ain't got nothin' on me.

Oh Uncle Jim....headed home with a mum in a pumpkin.

I love me a good lyrical dance. So while the cute newlyweds kids behind me, Aunt Michelle and I performed a lyrical dance...mostly her copying whatever I did (perhaps making fun of it.)
It was fun!

This picture of Aunt Michelle (in her pretty shoes) is priceless :)
I want an 8x10
I only wish she were facing the camera.
Creepy tongues...
Poor Alicia...

Grandma wasn't dancing.  Or drinking.
She was following the Cardinals game on Alicia's phone.

Another priceless picture....

I got Uncle Stinky onto the floor.
He and Caleb just really were rocking it...
What is Caleb doing?????

Rich was doing the macarena (sp?). That wasn't the song playing though.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Weber

They are just so cute together...

...and so are they...

Dad dancing with his Momma.

Jake just told Grandma he forgot to wear underpants.

They were dancing fools...

She is so pretty...and so happy.

Every party must come to an end....

The wedding was beautiful. We had a blast hanging out with family all day and night. Mom, Mary, Chad, and the kids headed back to the Villa round 7:30 but Dad, Anne and I stayed at the dance until it ended. We helped with clean up and then we headed to the villa. It was an awesome wedding.

Congratulations Mallory and AJ :)

Here is to your happily ever after!!
