Family Vacation: Ashley and Austin's Wedding

On July 4, 2014, Austin married his longtime girlfriend, Ashley.

They were married in an outside ceremony at the Jasmine House in Lexington, SC. It was so pretty.

We arrived a BIT late. We had allowed the kids to sleep as long as possible being that they'd had such a busy week. We knew it would be a long, hot night so we didn't want to have crabby kiddos. Well, we let them sleep too long. When we got to the ceremony, we hadn't planned for the small amount of parking available. By the time we go to the site, we were allll a hot mess. Luckily we made it before bride and groom had walked in :)

Waiting to be seated. LOVE Sawyer's face.

These two. Haha. I love this picture. Clearly Jenn had lost her balance.

This pretty girl. Prettiest little face at the wedding. Keeping it real with the fourth of July themed clothing for her and Sawyer.

Oh Adam. He did such a good job at escorting all of the ladies in.

Grandma Jackson and Uncle Adam walking. (We ducked in and took the closest empty row of seats so we wouldn't make an commotion. Yep, sat on the wrong side. But TECHNICALLY Ashley is family now too.)

The grooms side of the aisle :)

This guy and his blonding hair.... He was a bit warm and busy during the ceremony.

Here Comes The Groom....

And Ashley and her Daddy.

She looked like a princess :) Charlotte was in awe.

This looked so pretty. The lights and lanterns and everything.
Aunt Amelia is on the left as a bridesmaid, Uncle Adam and Grandma Jackson are on the right side standing up with Uncle Austin. It's a family affair :)

You may kiss the bride...

Mr. and Mrs. Austin K. Jackson.

Uncle Adam and the Matron of Honor

Aunt Amelia was even a bridesmaid!!!
Here she is smiling at our crazy crew.

Great Grandma Mimi and Adam leaving the ceremony.

Don't we clean up nice?
We were all sweating and the kids were having snacks.
Happy Fourth of July from the Jackson!

And I shall end this post was the most beautiful little face.....
He is so perfect.

Family Vacation: Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July from us to you! Happy Birthday America!

We woke up nice and early and Adrienne and had made plans to go to the sprinkler park at Saluda Shoals. Grandma and Grandpa Jackson suggested it. We were originally going to try the zoo but being that it was going to be like 95 and gross during the day, we thought it wouldn't be the best idea. The boys and Amelia headed to the shooting range to do target practice with their guns for the morning. Grandma Jackson suggested this sprinkler park. We invited Grandma and Great Grandma Mimi but due to the heat, they decided to stay indoors for the morning. Uncle Keith, Aunt Nancy, and cousin Jillian were going to come meet us but we ended up leaving before they came.

This girl loves a playground!!!

Naturally we brought snacks. We ALWAYS bring snacks.

These two. Watching the weird, dirty, sketchy kids at the park....making sure Charlotte is safe and we don't need to throw down.

She is really starting to love a good slide.

The kids were overwhelmed with the sprinklers so we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Jackson's house to meet up with some of the family. They also have a neighborhood pool that we wanted to check out. We dropped Aunt Adrienne off at home because she had plans with her friend and then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Charlotte ran up onto the porch and joined Aunt Nancy and Jillian on the swing. Sawyer and Uncle Keith started another gun battle like the night before :)

How cute is he?????

I could just pinch him. That hair. The curls. The blonde. His eyes.

CHEESE!!

Grandma Jackson gave Sawyer his special birthday present! It's a choo choo train!!!

We had lunch with everyone. We had delicious leftovers from the night before.
Then for dessert, we had delicious cupcakes.
This girl loves her sweets.

There is a lot of red white and blue going on here!

Both kids got adorable swimming suits from Grandma and Grandpa Jackson. They were red white and blue. So they wore their new swimming suits for the 4th of July.
And Sawyer wore Uncle Adam's new hat.

The kids love my phone. They took it and were showing videos and pictures of themselves to Grandma Mimi.

And then they shared their pictures with Grandma Jackson.

We finally headed to the pool for a bit. They had a baby pool at their neighborhood pool. The kids LOOOVED it....although this was right before Sawyer went under. Freak me out.

Rocking her new swimming suit.

Cousin Jillian came to the neighborhood pool with us. Because of the heat, no one else wanted to venture out and watch the babes play in the water. They were in heaven though.

After about 45 minutes, we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa Jackson's house. Alex and the guys had gotten back and were eating lunch there. We said hi and the kids put on a show for everyone. Then we headed back to Uncle Adam's house. It was time for naps and time to get ready for the wedding :)

Family Vacation: Ending the Rehearsal Dinner

You know, we may only be in SC for a few days but I will have a million blog posts from it :) Pictures, pictures, and more pictures...

As the rehearsal dinner for Ashley and Austin began to wind down, the sun was setting. I love the background (and Charlotte's blue lips) in this picture.

Besties and sisters.

Amelia and Cullen...
Representin'  'Merica

This boy and his water guns for the night. He is drinking out of it.

We have a real comedian over here.
I feel certain Adam and I were doing a little commentary prior to this photo.

The Adam Jacksons!

Well, this moment was hilarious. Alex and Adrienne going at it. SHOCKING.

Charlotte was getting her flirt on with Cullen.

Charlotte and her Aunt "Adron"

Kisses are sweet.

Charlotte and her Aunt Amelia.

The almost newlyweds!!!
See you tomorrow :)
It's going to be a beautiful day!
Love their banner!

Party is over!!! Ten minutes prior, this pavilion looked completely different!
Fast clean up by all of the family :)

My kids may not converse much with people and may be shy around people they don't know well, but they are awesome at goodbyes. They really do give the best goodbye hugs.

Sweet moments.

Great Grandma Mimi and her youngest great grandbaby.

Kisses. Look at his little hand :)

Hugs for Grandma Jackson.

Hugs for Aunt Sallie Jean

Quick smiles with Aunt Ashley. We can't wait to see her princess dress tomorrow!

After the rehearsal party was over, we headed back to Uncle Adam and Aunt Adrienne's house to hang out. Aunt Amelia and Cullen came over for awhile too. We sat around and chatted and the kids stayed up way too late....but hey, that's what vacation is for :)
