Leo Victor

On April 11, 2013, a beautiful momma gave birth to the most perfect little boy. She called him her "angel" all of the time. She loved that sweet boy more than anything she had ever know. At 11 and a half months old on March 27, 2014, that sweet boy went to be with Jesus.

I had the opportunity to take pictures for Abby and Leo on two separate occasions. I did his six month pictures on a random Sunday. Abby and Leo were my neighbors. The kids would wave every time we went past their house. Anytime Charlotte saw them pull into the driveway, she wanted to see Leo. Somedays when Aunt Bare would come visit us, Abby and Leo would come over too. The kids LOVED Leo (or "Weo" as Charlotte called him.)

Here are a bunch of the pictures I took of sweet Leo.
Such a beautiful, perfect angel.

I love this picture. This is how he looked at his Momma during this shoot.

Those eyes.

One of my favorite photos I have taken.

So happy together.

This boy was his Momma's world.
Such a perfect mother.

On a random day in January, I took pictures of Leo. He was 9 months old at the time. I wanted to get pictures of him in his completely adorable room. Abby made his room absolutely perfect.

This face!!!

I love that you can see his two little teeth.

Perfect.

Such a personality on this man!

So proud of himself for standing there!
(Again he is looking at his Mom.)

He thought he was so funny :)
Such a big boy in the big chair.

This look just kills me.

I love this sweet boy. So handsome. So perfect. I love the relationship that he and Abby had.

Abby, Thank you for letting me photograph your perfect boy. Watching the love you have for him is inspiring. Love you, sweet girl.

Playing With Eliza

We were so excited that Eliza and Erin came over to visit us! They were in town hanging out with Miss Diana. Eliza loves other kids and loved coming over to play with the crazies. Naturally my two kids come on very strong but Eliza was able to hang!

By the end of the visit, they were all sitting and laughing and eating.

How cute are they all????

Sawyer loves girls!! He loves loves loves Eliza. Hearing Eliza say her version of their names was so adorable!

How amazing are those boots????
We are going to try to get together each time they come back to visit. We love when we get to see them and love even more when we can do a real playdate!!!!!

Thanks for coming over, friends. We are thankful for you!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Peoria has a big St. Patrick's Day parade every year. Mom and I took the kids with us to the parade. Both kids were dressed in green with green beads and what not. Diana came with us as well! It was a party. I had Charlotte all psyched up for it. I promised her I would make sure she didn't see that "Redbird" or any people dressed as animals.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

The parade people :)
It was a CHILLY day!

She watched a bit of the parade.

This guy sat in the stroller for most of the parade. He just kept eating candy. Look at how red his chubby little fingers are!!!

And we reached the point of anxiety and intermittent hysterics.

These guys are in every parade in the area. They do change their outfit though. They just kill me :)
I think Alex and I need to aim to do this in retirement.

In awe of the amazingness of the grade school marching band.

I couldn't NOT take a picture of this. The assisted living bus was in the parade. It had four streamers on it and we could see their little hands peaking out the window. We couldn't even see in the windows at all. It was weird.

After the parade and after we calmed Charlotte down, we headed to Avanti's for lunch. We were going to try an Irish pub but it was an hour wait. So we went with Italian and the kids loved it.

Diana was a great help and Charlotte loved having someone else there to give her attention :)
